Cardiological diseases include diseases of the heart and circulatory system. Diseases of this group most often develop under the influence of stress, high blood pressure, overweight or obesity, an improper lifestyle (drinking alcohol, smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle). Most often, these cardiological diseases affect people over 40 years old.
Sanatorium treatment is especially effective in the case of the following cardiological diseases:

In Polish sanatoriums, rehabilitation is also offered for patients who have suffered myocardial infarction. A patient, who has had a myocardial infarction, after staying in the hospital, should begin cardiological rehabilitation as soon as possible, which is carried out to receive also coordinated spa treatments, psychological consultations, physical education program and consultations on a healthy lifestyle. Patients after heart attack can receive also in a cardiological sanatorium: stress training, relaxation sessions or music therapy.
